I can't find a picture of the new helmet but I'm looking at it right now on the NFL Network and I don't like it.  It is blue and solid and the horseshoes aren't on the side - they are on the lower back.  I hate it.  Not that I'm a colts fan even but still - I liked the old helmet.  I want the old helmet back.  How about you?

Blue helmet is part of throwbacks from '55 season...They're being worn in a preseason game against San Fran for fun... I kinda like the solid blue

Thowback?  I guess I considered that but they look modern to me.  I don't mind the throwback stuff either.  I guess this kills my forum question then!

Thanks.  I perhaps should've just researched a bit more on this one before posting!

Can I change it to... how do you feel about "throwback uniforms"?

I like the throwbacks for a game or two.  I don't like too many helmet changes though.  The exception was the Buffalo Bills when they went from the red buffalo from OJ's time to the newer buffalo with the red streak coming off its shoulder.

As long as there is a hint of horse on it, I like it,

You cared enough to say you didn't care so there is some care there I'd say!!!  Maybe?  You could've just been bored I suppose.

A better question would be:  What's up with Painter?

I missed his "game" but is certainly sounded awful.  Not quite a Sorgi kind of backup.

A few years ago, when the Colts played the Lions on Thanksgiving Day, they wore a similiar throwback uniform with the white helmets and the horseshoe on the back of the helmet.  In fact, Peyton Manning had a great game in defeating the Lions that Thanksgiving.
