Please explain about Digg. I have signed up with them for months. Send all my bookmaks there and now they ask to sign up for the New Digg. Are the old Digg bookmarks wiped off? What is the difference or improvement of New Digg?
Hmmm, I didn't get asked to sign up for the new Digg; my old login works just fine. Digg is really shooting themselves in the foot with the changes they're making. Kevin Rose is stepping down as CEO and a lot of users are migrating away from the site. Take my advice: use Reddit instead.
Thank you very much for your reply and good advice. With Reddit, although I like the site very much, but the problem is that after two or three bookmarkings they tell you to wait anything from five to seven minutes and one day one hour. Would you say the bookmarking with Reddit is more effective?
I guess everything we had at Digg was wiped clean!!! I could not find anything after signing and re-verifying user account.
I even had to re-add photo.
Digg has messed up it looks like. I have noticed a loss of All traffic from Digg the past week, guess I know why now. Guess time to find another site. Reddit is good for some articles, but not all.
Thank you for coming and giving all these information. They send me en email to sign up for 'New Digg' but I don't know if it is worthwhile. May Hubpages would be able to solve the riddle and find out for us. They are closer to the wisdom.
They asked me to sign up for the new Digg too! I can't find any of my links....
Never mind. Found them. ha ha I think Digg just redid their website a little, but my profile and all my links are still there.
I noticed today that there are Hubs that are receiving hits from Reddit now that usually did not. And that Digg has been laying a "goose-egg" this week! I wish they hadn't changed the site.I was receiving decent traffic until the change. But since the vast majority of traffic comes from Google anyways...it is all OK.
They've been transferring to a new version. Your old bookmarks should still be there, but you will have to re-do your profile.
I am having a really hard time getting followers on digg... other that it seems like a useful sight.
I've never used Digg, but it seems they've taken a hit in traffic. here's an article from today's NYTimes. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/09/19/techn … =1&hpw
it seems like it would be time consuming?

This site has been suggested as a way to get traffic. I spent a few hours, which turned into 3 days, to figure out how to navigate it. It appears to be a site about links, not really content, but they get angry if you post links? What am I missing? I had to go on under 3 names, but I tried to leave...

175 google views and $5.26 in nearly six months I rarely use social sites, though I did use Reddit when I first started out here.Is this normal for my amount of hubs over such a long period of time. If I were to write a bunch more, and still not do the social networking thing to try and get...

I've been using a variety of social bookmarking sites to increase traffic and for the do-follow links, due to a great hub by Ryankett, thanks Ryan!! Recently though, on a few sites like Kirsty or Wagg, even after several months, my bookmarks are all marked as "submitted", but none of them...

There should be a quick and easy way for readers who aren't interested in writing to sign up and follow HubPages writers, topics, or niche sites without actually signing up for HubPages. I just had a reader say they really like PetHelpful and wanted to subscribe to the site. Unfortunately, the only...
