Hi folks, this is my first post, I am in the process of building a hub page and would prefer not to have google adsense on it right now. I noticed that while I was working on it a msg came up showing me where my adsense would be. Do I have to have this or can it be left out. Thanks, hope not too silly a question, couldn't find the answer! Maybe just too early, been reading lots of hubs, well done to you all, Eleanor
It will depend on the topic you wish to write about and whether you have outbound links which could be considered commercial.
Hi, I would have an outbound link to my website. I would rather not have adsense or kontera ads on it for now. Is this possible? My website is on learning Spanish.
If any of your outbound links lead to any sites that have advertising, or which sell anything, that's considered commercial and you won't be able to turn off the ads. Even if you yourself aren't signed up for AdSense, your Hubs will run those ads as that's how HubPages pays for itself.
You don't get Kontera ads if you don't sign up for them. If you do sign up for Kontera, there's an option in each Hub to enable or disable those ads per Hub.

Earlier I posted that people should go and make links going to other sites that do not belong to you nofollow. Then someone mentioned that if your hubber score is less than 85 then "every link" will be nofollow. But this is not what HubPages says. HubPages says:"If your HubberScore...

I've been working on creating outbound links for some of my hubs in my second week here at HP. I know the basics of SEO and I know why this is important. I thought it might be nice to share some tips for making the outbound links work for us. I don't think I personally have enough information here...

Hi Hubbers, I mentioned in the past that we've been working with a company that helps identify SEO issues. Many of the issues they identify come in the form of penalties which they believe hurt the entire site. We've been trying to look at these penalties and come up with solutions that...

I was discussing outbound links with Ghost32 the other day.Lissie posted this comment in another thread:At the time, she said this seemed to be true, as sites where she had outbound links were getting good traffic - however, that didn't necessarily mean better earnings. Any update,...
