      Hi Larry smile

Under Trucks, you have Mack, how about Volvo? 2nd largest truck company in the world.

Under Auto Industry you have specific companies, how about Mercedes? They're so much bigger than what you see in the US, they make all kinds of cars, vans, city buses, etc.

Under Cars how about Skoda? The company pre-dates Ford and is quite popular in Europe.

Under Cars how about Muscle Cars? I suppose they might be classics to some degree you can't put a MoPar and a Model T in the same category, can you?? smile

Er, and what about the other suggestions I asked about in the other categories? You haven't replied to me yet. sad

        Hi Isabella,

Thanks so much for all the great feedback!  Fawntia is exactly right.  We are processing all of it!  smile

I agree with you that if we have Mack, we should also have other manufacturers (interestingly, Mack was bought by Volvo in 2001).  I think that I may drop the category or generalize it.  I'll have to think about it.

You make a good point about Mercedes.  I think that this argues that I should pull all the major companies from the Cars subcategory and add them to the Auto Industry.  I agree with you that this makes more sense than just having the big American companies.

I am glad to add Skoda.  I am opening to breaking apart classic cars into different subcategories.  I need to think about it more.

Travel & Places:  I agree with you about adding subways/undergrounds and having  a tram/trolley/light rail subcategory separate from Buses.

Science & Education: I agree with you that Slavic and Persian should be added under Literature.  As far as the particular authors that you list, I like all of them but I'm not sure that we can put them as separate categories.  There are too many worthy authors to list.  If you are using them as examples of Slavic and Persian authors, then I am in agreement with you about the importance of those third-level categories.

I agree with you about Infectious Diseases as a better title than just plan Diseases and I will add Cardiology and Oncology as you suggest.

        Cheers,

        -Larry

Hey Larry! smile Cool, thanks for considering them all. And don't worry about the authors I mentioned, I was just listing examples of Slavic/Persian writers to show how famous some are; I wasn't trying to get you to include them. smile

As for everything else, this is really quite a list you're compiling. I hope you intend to frame it when it's finished.  ;-)

This list is overwhelming.  I've always simply categorized vehicles by color.  I used to have a black car.  Now I have a white one.  I had a brown one for a while, in graduate school.
