Chamber of Commerce, libraries love presentations - if useful - motivational and inspirational is always wanted.

Check with your local paper - see if you can write on their blog.  They pay is basically nothing and it is time consuming but the access to thousands is more efficient.

Do a combination of writing and presentations and you will be dynamite!

Prepare the information: What needs to be said? Determine the three or four main talking points that need to be covered. Then write a script to see how the ideas will flow together. The script isn't intended to be read word for word. Think of it as a trial run through what you want to see. Don't be afraid to deviate a little from the script during the presentation if it makes the speech flow a little better or seem more conversational.

You are on hubpages, a site on which thousands of writers share their experience and expertise.... how about typing "effective presentations" or "presentation skills" or some other combination in the search box - top right of the page... you may find exactly what you want........

There are many ways to get the actual training and practice you require:  Toastmasters International is probably the best, if you can find yourself a club.  I've been a member for most of my adult life and frequently address groups, for example 664 presentations and over 36,000 people in the past fifteen years.

Toastmastes have clubs world wide.  They're in most countries today and have a world-wide membership of at least 200,000 people.   Check 'em out on Google.
