    Do you have an opinion about the most distinct  opening  guitar riff of all times?

    i like that choice!  there are so many great guitarists; joe satriani or jimi baby always come to mind when i think of guitar...need to think about it a bit more.

      Come to think of it, i agree it is a difficult choice among a host of songs like Sweet Home Alabama, My sweet Lord, Born to be Wild, Staying Alive
      Oh, the list can go on and on

    I'm downloading that album "Live at Madison Square" with Stevie and Eric - it has ALL my favs on it and why didn't I do this before - man, this makes me feel so good to hear these songs again.  Perfect Indian Summer day, perfect songs for it.  smile
