I've just recently found HubPages, and have only written one hub. I'm a busy mom and full time college student, so I would like to get some feedback on the one hub before I put too much more time into additional hubs. I'm sure that not everyone cares about the topic, but did I set the hub up properly, is it written in an appropriate manner, did I set up the amazon capsule correctly? I was rejected by the eBay affiliate, so I cannot add anything from them, but I signed up for all of the other listed affiliates. I don' quite understand a lot of the intricacies of HubPages yet, so perhaps if there is something that is glaringly wrong someone will be kind enough to let me know.

    Thanks!

I'd say you have done pretty well for a first effort. Some photos would help-- but those can be added later. One thing that can help the layout is to kick your Amazon capsule over to the right. and move it up
(Go to edit-- use the arrows  at the top of the capsule) . You will learn more just by experimenting a bit.
Oh and your soup sounds yummy.

Thanks so much for your comments and suggestions. I have to run at the moment to get some cough drops, but I'll give your Amazon advice a try later. Have a great day!!

Looks good. I would suggest giving each section (ingredients, preparation, etc.) it's own separate text capsule. And I agree about adding some pics.

Thanks for the advice! I'll have to figure out how to do the separate text capsules when I get a bit of time. I'm going to take some pictures the next time I make the soup so I can post them on the hub.
