    You are not alone. Tatjana-Mihaela had a similar experience. read her hub "HOW TO FLIRT WITH FEMALE WRITER ON THE HUBPAGES (OR NOT)" . You will find many people coming here thinking that it a some general social networking site.

    You'd think with all these eharmony like sites, people would migrate away from this kind of stuff.

      eharmony and sites like that cost money.  I guess some people are too cheap to use sites for that purpose, and decide to hunt around here.
