Certain extremists have emerged from the depths like fiends from Hell and spewed obscenities into our otherwise rational language. Such negative terms (abortionists, socialists, racists, <slur removed>, fascists, <slurs removed>, rapists, incest, masturbation), and phrases ("I am not a witch, I Am You;" "I'll take you out;" " get some balls;" "man up;" "Obama Is A Muslim/Kenyan") are used by Tea Party adherents to influence our votes. If we elect these psychos, they will lead us to The Promised Land. You betcha, wink, wink.
I make it a priority when election time rolls around to NOT listen to any campaign jargin. From either parties.
Slurs have been around for as long as I can remember. My guess is they will be around as long as there is an election.
The tea party, dems, reps and independants alike all share the same goal, and that is to influence our vote. One is no better or worse than the other.
New Politics? I don't think so. Just more vocal/visible.
New generation? Maybe.
"One is no better or worse than the other."
About the campaign rhetoric? Absolutely.
You're off on a good start, calling people psychos. Not.
P.S. You left out several phrases. Like "buck up", one of Obama's faves.
Oh that's right----you're only mocking conservatives I suppose!
wink wink back atcha.
I'm surprised to find myself in agreement with Brenda.
Responding to the name-callers with name-calling doesn't help.
Just sayin'.

Today (4/4/16) the Supreme Court unanimously threw out a challenge to the "one man, one vote" concept that was established in Court decisions from the 1960s. The Project on Fair Representation (PFR) in Texas. The question they raised is must redistricting be based on total...

Politics in itself is good. It was basically created to give meaningful directions to an otherwise chaotic and multi-dimensional problems of our society. The politicians are the ones that make it look trashy and confusing to a majority of the people. Too much scandals/corruptions and too much...

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/co … 05400.htmlThey might be perfectly fine with someone who wants to be the other gender, but, heaven forbid, they find someone with a different view of government, it's just too much evil to stomach, apparently.

This week in Michigan enough Tea Party delegates showed up at a Republican meeting to elect delegates to the party's nominating convention for the election in November to defeat the current Republican party chairman's bid to be elected a delegate. This strikes me as a cataclysmic event for the...

"Sharron Angle, the Tea Party candidate..in Nevada, has taken heat for a number of extreme affiliations and policy positions. One of the more outlandish was a statement she made.. in which she floated the idea that the public would bring down an out-of-control Congress with "Second...
