    I'm watching David Letterman right now, and Robert De Niro and Dustin Hoffman are on.  Two of my all-time favorite actors.  Anybody prefer one over the other...

    Letterman just mentioned this but Raging Bull was truly one amazing movie.

    I think they're both great.  However, I think Hoffman has had more challenging roles over his career.   I think he's been around a bit longer, too.  Remember 'Rain Man'?  Hello Mrs. Robinson? and 'Papillon'?  All quite different parts.

    De Niro, I also like.  But a bit like the late John Wayne, he always seems to get lumbered with the same 'tough guy' roles.

    De Niro is one of my all time favs! He's mafia, villian, victim and suspense all in one....LOVE HIM!
