That a rediculous story like this is still in the news 2 years after the election shows just how determined some people are to defend their ignorance. Do these people think that the democrats are stupid enough to run a canidate that wasn't legally allowed to run? Of course they do, Palin level thinkers told them to and the ignorant always believe those who have an IQ in double digits.

Here's one for them to ponder...

Perhaps the thrill is still there and he is hoping that Shining Handsome is a little more exotic than he thought at first.

The level of or more correctly, the lack of intelligence in this country is frightening. That large portions of our voting public believe rediculous crap like this is utterly amazing to me. What's amazing is that these mental zombies actually think they could survive with out the Government doing their thinking for them.

Hey Stump! Hope your Holiday was great! On this subject , was  it those very same large portions of our voting public that elected our current President? I'm  thinking so. And I'm thinking that very same group just swung to the right in hope of the same things that caused them to swing to the left! They will respond to the blue haze with unbelievable probability.
It's hard to believe that in an era when books were expensive and hard to come by, the average farmer in this country sat down after dinner with his family and discussed the latest edition of the Federalist Papers. No time for wii I guess? How many kids today have read A Tale of Two Cities? David Copperfield? Wealth of the Nations? A World Without Heroes? The Bible for heavens sake? (aside from the neg. connotations I know you'll draw from a lifetime in the belt, it is a great source of wisdom on even a secular level)
Brother, our schools were originally designed to educate the poor, the employee, the slave. The folks behind them, (and I do not mean teachers or local school board members) have not changed that focus. They only enlarged the pool of candidates to fund their families habits.
It is up to us, to educate ourselves. And to teach our children to do the same. I do not insist my children believe what I believe. But I do  insist that they understand and know why they believe what they believe. "The problems of this day can not be solved with the same thinking that produced them"...

Hey Fits, happy new year to you and yours, You make a very good point here fits, I would venture to say that easily 60% of this countries voters don't have a valid reason for their vote. It sure as heck isn't based on any intelligent research. Most people vote the way they are told to by those they perceive to be looking out for their interests.
This is were the problems start. These polititcians have no interest in your problem or my problems or that they are the ones causing them. Those in charge of running this country have learned their lessons well. They tel us what's wrong with the country, who's to blame for our troubles, and that they are the only ones capable of fixing them. After this process is completed, it starts all over again. This process ends with those who claim to be working for this country being elected. Fixing the country is not something they are interested in, or have for that matter, any plans of doing.

By steadily reducing the level of, and the quality of, education in America, Our elected officials once elected continue to work for those who pay them the most. Perhaps this pay doesn't come in the form of a check, more times than not it is the corporation that spends the most to get him or her re-elected.

For most of my life I have assumed that I wouldn't be here to witness the final destruction of this country personally. There is no threat more dangerous to this country than the combination of a country full of "Gumps" and a couple of political parties skilled at leading the country to the water and getting them to drink. Yes sir, stupid is as stupid does is surely the most realistic motto this country could officially adopt. Abe Lincoln was a self taught man and he was infinately smarter than those who attend our Stupid Factories they have labelled our public school system. Just 15 or 20 years ago American students were the best educated people in any industrialized country in the world. Do the American people worry about this in any way? Yes.they fight to have thomas Jefferson removed from our history books so the children learning from the don't question the lies a large portion of this country chooses to accept as gospel. We need to teach the gospel in church and teach our children the truth. I for one believe they will make an intelligent choice if we teach them how to think in the first place. Those who dont believe the facts about our history and our world have chosen to keep our children dumb in an effort to make themselves appear more intelligent, Great friggin plan "dontcha know"?

If I know in my heart that 2 + 2 = 3, I don't want my child hearing some liberal teaching them the truth now do I? Most people figure that since this is the land of the free they are entitled to turn my child or yours, into another classic American Gump. Why not completely abolish our education system and simply mandate 3 hours of daily bible study for 5 years. Anyone who completes this course of study will be classified as a genius and will still continue to vote the way they are told to, by those who make a fontune playing with the idiots. They will have an in depth knowledge of science, history, and of how to sacrifice your child for god.

Our education levels are being set bu those least qualified to do so and America has no problem with this, thank god, seriously, you can thank god for this one amen.

Will we every got to a point that we don't need to use labels? I am tired of liberals, conservatives, and tea partyers. For the first time in my life (i'm 57) the man in the White House looks like my late father. He's made some mistakes and he's made some good moves, just like every other president we've had.

I seriously doubt it sdp. It has become the American way to label everyone we meet. Labels are easier to deal with than individual people.

As to the president, unemployment is at it's lowest level since president Cheney was in office. It is this low in spite of every effort to stop every attempt at solving our problems the Obama admin has made. The repubs are more concrened with raping the country than fixing anything. How do you suppose the Repubs would look to the country if the Dems were able to repair the disaster that was the Cheney administration in one term? The Repubs have decided that no one can be permitted to fix their mess but them, and they have no intention of doing themselves. The only option left for them is to stand in the way of any attempt at progress. It's working quite well for them I might ad. The country is in better shape than when the Dubya circus was in town and most Americans fail to see it. Why, well for the most part they don't look. They don't know hopw to look and they have no interest in what they will see if they do look. They are quite happy to have their truth handed to them on a Faux News Platter.
