Well, I guess some of you here think this is proper. He can tell other country's what to do, but, he won't raise a finger to help his own.
UNITED NATIONS — President Barack Obama on Saturday said embattled Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi has lost the legitimacy to rule, and needs to do what is right for his country by leaving now. It was the first time he called on Gadhafi to step down.
Obama made the comments to German Chancellor Angela Merkel in a private telephone conversation about the violence in Libya.
According to the White House, Obama told Merkel that when a leader's only means of holding power is to use violence against his people, he needs to do what's right by "leaving now."
Also Saturday, officials announced the U.S. had revoked visas for senior Libyan officials and their family members.
Meanwhile, U.N. Security Council met in an urgent session to consider sanctions to punish Libya for its violent attacks against anti-government protesters.
The sanctions under consideration at Saturday's session include an arms embargo against the Libyan government and a travel ban and asset freeze directed at Gadhafi, his relatives and key regime members.

But I thought Gadhafi and Shiny were friends.
First he threw Mubarak under the bus, then Gadhafi. It could get mighty crowded under there.
I think there are people in America itself to demand impeachment of Obama himself. But it is from Americans only. Not from Libya or somewhere else. Likewise, Obama has no right to demand the exit of a leader in a foreign country. Gadaffi has ruled for 40+ years.... let him rule for some more years.
One humble request to the crisis ridden Gadafi..... He should remember what he did in 1970 to an Indian envoy to the OIC conference... Mr.Fakrudin Ali Ahmed, deputed to participate in the Islamic conference in Tripoli was just tossed out of Libya without even a glass of drinking water... on the ground that India cannot claim that it is an Islamic country. So discourteous was Mr.Gadafi during his early period! We can reap the crop only from the seeds sown.
(Mr.FA Ahmed, later became President of India.)
Not to mention the American airliner he blew up over Locherbie, Scotland, killing all aboard. Rather poor judgment to say the least. The same for his effort to obtain or make nuclear weapons. Delusions of grandeur.
I'm guessing there are more Muslims in India than Libya.
