for instance, i have 3 basic requirements,... for a live in relationship,...
A)conversation beyond MTV and asking when supper will be ready
B) be useful, if you cannot contribute to the household financialy, then be helpful in the domestic sense
C) be phisicaly available,... put out.
a non-live-in relationship needs only A & C,... a one time ticket only needs C
how bout you?
...hey StCJ....i luv it....
me?....ummmmmmm.............
you are the only fish to bite,..... i thought that question woulda got more of a response,.... i supose the question assumes that people actualy think about what they want,....
mabye thats why so many are so unhappy,.... if you cant identify what you want or need,.... how will you recognize it when you see it?
ha!
thanks for the post
What are your relationship requirements?
Accept me. Simple enough.
you sure nailed an all important one,.... acceptance.
certainly not happy if you cant relax and be yourself.
i joked one night that i love it when a man uses words with more than 4 sylables, stating that an IQ is sexy, trouble was the last guy that used a 4 sylable word on me said "monogomous",.... then my boy friend turned around from the BBQ and said "hey, that was me!",.... it got a big laugh,.... and he laughed too,.... we may be hard to define as relationships go but we are exclusive to one another,.... so he got what he wanted,.... monogomous.
My relationship requirements, in their simplest terms:
ability and willingness to give and receive emotional intimacy
ability and willingness to give and receive physical intimacy
intelligent conversation
mutual respect
ability and willingness to work together to achieve goals
i've often said that i dont need someone to walk on a sun drenched beach with, but rather someone i can change a flat tire with,... working together is very important.

When dating do you believe there is real difference between being shallow and having preferences? If a man refuses to date women who are overweight and a woman refuses to date men who are shorter than her would you consider them to be shallow? or Would you view it as having specific preferences?...
