Many of my hubs have been copied. Now, several of my titles have the copied icon next to them, but when I go to the hub, there's no note at the top showing where the copied hub is located. Does this mean the copied hub has been removed?
Another question: For the copied hubs with Google Adsense, I've filed complaints with Google. However, some of the hubs are still up and running with Google ads still on them. I have one that I've been reporting for months, and still no action from the Big G! Why?
Hi Habee, I never got any info as to where I could find my copied hub in 'a note'. I was tipped off by a fellow Hubber, and the hub had been copied to another Hub here on Hubpages!! I would suggest emailing team@hubpages.com and asking where your copied hub can be located. I am sure they will email you back the link if it still exists.
Alternatively BlissfulWriter's advice works too, so you could give that a try.
Thirdly, join Edweirdo's Hubdefender program (only a few dollars for the basic setup). This will allow you far greater control over tracking if a hub has been copied and where to find the copied hub.
I can't answer the second question, BUT I also can't answer the first one.
I have often searched for various links that are supposed to reference a specific search term and cannot find the term in question. I suppose it COULD be that the item has been deleted.
You can find where your copied Hubs are located by using a search engine and searching for an entire paragraph of text from your Hub.
That's right, copy an entire chunk for your text and put it in the search box of Google and hit search. If that comes up empty. Copy a different chunk of text. Because they may have just copied a portion of your Hub.

I would like a better explanation of the Hub Score. I have a Hub that I uploaded on May 12th, it's ranked #2 on Google search results for its main keyword phrase, it's getting 175 visits per day sent by Google, but the Hub Score is only 78. Is that because someone at MTurk didn't like...

We've heard several concerns about Hubs getting copied and losing traffic and we know how frustrating this is for the author. Google tries to identify the original content creator and show that in the search results. If you have a copied Hub that is getting outranked in the search...

We all appreciate that it's our own responsibility to protect our own work, but it's a big job, and it's in HubPages interest to help us, because plagiarism affects the whole site's income. On another thread, there have been several suggestions of features HubPages could add. So far we have:-...

I am venturing out into the forums on a rare occasion to personally ask a question I haven't seen anyone from HP answer to anyone's satisfaction to this point. I've just noticed a hubber which only joined around 14 hours ago who had a hub published only 30 minutes or so ago. See it for...

I hope Robin will come by and comment on this one. I have been going through all of my old comments and deleting any that don't add anything to the conversation, but some of my hubs have a ton of very useful and informative comments. I don't want to throw the baby out with the bathwater. What makes...
