There's a place in the world that I want to write about, but it's pretty much in the middle of nowhere, so I don't really know what to write about it in particular. I can't write a hub on the wonderful restaurants, the culture, or things like that because it's really only popular to trekkers. I don't really want to write about trekking, either. This place is very beautiful so that would be something to write about I guess, but I just kind of need something to I don't know fine tune my idea. Any ideas from you guys?
The place is the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal.
I've been really interested in it since I was a kid and would like to write a hub about it... but WHAT about the Annapurna Circuit? That it's beautiful? Okay, so that gives me one sentence. I want to create something that's interesting to other readers.
There are other places I would like to write about as well, but just don't know where to start or what to say.
I wrote about a town called Whitehall, New York once. It's kind of a hole in the ground, but it has a great history that is tied in with the rest of the United States.
You could start by giving everyone a brief history of the town. Tell us when it was founded, if any events took place there. Remember, even the smallest stories about a battle or about an explorer can be a part of the bigger picture.
To don't have to write an entire story about trekking, but mention that it's a trekker's destination. It's like, if I were to write about Cooperstown. New York (which I have)m I don't need to make the article about baseball. But I can mention that the Baseball Hall of Fame is located there.
Maybe there aren't any fine resturaunts in this town you're speaking of, but there is clearly an aspect of the place that you enjoy so much. If you tell me how you see it in your eyes, it will give me something to look at.
Do you have a camera? Take some pictures of the place and post it in your hub so that I'm really looking at the town through your eyes.
There's a hundred ways you can tackle this. Hopefully I've given you some useful suggestions.
You don't say how you came to start thinking about this place when you were very young, I suspect it must have been a film or book that triggered something in you, and you have kept the memories alive ever since.
As you don't know the area well, why don't you convert your thoughts and images you have in your mind into a poem and tell your story that way. Just an idea.
Your choices are pretty much:
physical -- go through as if you are physically through town "you first come to this tree at entrance, then you pass by this house..."
temporal -- go through a bit of time and describe the history of the place from an arbitrary point in the past going forward to the present
experiential -- describe your feelings as you entered the town and how your experience changed as you explore the premises, i.e. surprise at every corner
(there's probably more, but I can't think of them now)

I actually submitted a few quality articles mistakenly in a site that was not worth it. So I deleted those articles yesterday to post in Hubpages. But I found those links still coming up on Google Search, even though they are leading to blank pages and even the cached one is broken. I'd like to...

What do you think...

I've seen a lot of people say no, but I've also seen people saying they are making money through HubPages. So which is it?
