If yes, how many pageviews do you get on monthly basis?

I don't have one but I think Alexa can be manipulated easily by installing their tool bar and visiting your site frequently. If I am wrong correct me.

I tested before and with 10k Alexa Traffic per day you can take this in 1 or 2 month but during this time you should 100% work on backlink if you not working on Backlink that Alexa Traffic will drop again and you will lose that Rank, ( DONT SPAM your website with fake Backlink, Top quality Backlink will boost your Alexa traffic to powerful)

I doubt most here even know what an Alexa ranking is, let alone own a site in the top 100,000.

Personally I think following what a site is on Alexa is out dated, even if many still use those numbers. Hardly anyone uses Alexa on their computer anymore.

It's like listing sites by how high they are are dogpile. hmm

I know, but as one of my sites is now close to the 100,000 mark, I want to be in the top hundred thousand. Just wanted to know if there were any avg. pageviews to get there. I know Alexa doesn't have a very sound algorithm to calculate rankings but still want to breach that mark.

4K? Well in that case, if I take the total from all my websites, I have 4 that reach that.

What, doesn't work that way? big_smile

Why don't you try out the many toolbars (free ones) that allow you to track Alexa ratings on websites? I use one and every website I "alight on" is quickly measured by the Toolbar and graded eventually. No system is perfect, but Alexa is useful. And I don't put all my faith in one company like Google any more.

Why not use the alexa toolbar tongue

Remember for the most part Alexa only tracks sites based on the stats from people who use it's toolbar!

I run the Marketing and Networking University we had an Alexa ranking of 89,000 and about 30k uniques a month. We have since been working on increase of organic traffic and less paid advertising. Our Alexa rating has tanked but in my opinion we have better but lower traffic now. We plan to continue building our online business course selection and keep our organic growth strategies moving forward.
