If you have a few minutes to post feedback here on how I can improve my hubbing technique and increase traction / traffic I'd appreciate it.I will return the favour by adding feedback for somebody else when I know the rules and can apply them effectively.
The Reiki hub is the one I'm spending most time on at the moment so that would be my option for feedback. It seems to be building slowly. Is there a way to build it more effectively or is it all dependent on my overall activity?
Thanks in advance
Dennis
Dennis here are a couple of things that caught my eye. 1. What exactly is Reiki? Please define. 2. Utilize the word " We" as "I" is being used to much. For ex: we normally etc. 3. It could also use more pics as it needs visuals on understanding what Reiki is or its purpose.
My sentiments exactly. Also...try to extend the length of your Hubs. Short ones don't do well overall..

I'll be looking through your Hubs soon...I usually do one or two at a time. So..be on the look out.

Your hub on Joe Vitale is very short, and could be considered just as a promo.
Perhaps give some more info about him, and not his sales process - which I found to be quite repulsive.

Ditto to what others have said about your Reiki hub. Most people know nothing about it, so a couple of paragraphs leading in to the topic would be great.
Cheers, Eric G.
After reading your page on Reiki, I noticed on major flaw. You're telling us a story. You're not showing us what Reiki is or how it can help us either as customers or practitioners.
Don't get me wrong, it's a good thing to start in with a story to hook your reader, if you can, but you have to inform people what it's about. Who taught you how to do Reiki? What does training entail? Where can go go to get such training? How does Reiki work? Why is this a good thing for me to do or why is it a good thing to train for it?
As you answer those questions, you can use case studies to prove your points and keep interest in your page rather than just talking at people. Also try to add pictures, video and links to Reiki sites. Google and Hubpages both like that and tend to reward that sort of thing with traffic.
Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it and the time it took you all.I'm adding to each of my hubs as I go along so the length will increase. At the moment I'm posting between shifts of my day job and paying for internet access so 30 minute blocks are all I can manage. This is dictating the length of hubs for now but I will revisit each next week and add some more detail / information.
Once again thanks for your input.
Dennis
I agree with all the other guys, but I would like to stress the Image is important, and don't forget the caption.
Break your text up into an number of capsules.
If internet time is important, build your Hubs on your own computer at home and then copy and paste when you get on line.

I've been doing a lot of thinking about the types of services we offer Hubbers and how to help Hubbers improve.A few services that have been suggested- grammar and spell checking- suggesting edits- providing images/media upon request- formatting help (breaking hubs into multiple text capsules,...

I put this in the "answers" section and it actually should've been posted here. Many of us may be not performing to our fullest potential because we haven't taken a critical eye to each others' content. I would like to offer you some constructive criticism. If you have a hub or...

I see this message when my Hub is rejected: "Heads up! It looks like your Hub is not cleared for publication because it did not pass the Quality Assessment Process. No need to fret; every new Hubber goes through Boot Camp, and all you need to do is improve the Hub so that it meets our quality...

I joined Hubpages approximately 3 years ago. I have 25 - 30 hubs. All of my published hubs are featured hubs. In 2012 I made a little over $50 revenue on my hubpages hubs. Altogether since I began writing on Hubpages I have reached almost 30,000 views. While perusing the forums I see...
