"I will keep fighting along side many of you in order to make the DREAM Act the law of the land," President Obama said at Miami Dade College's commencement ceremony. "It will be difficult, and it will take time. I know some of you wish that I could bypass Congress and change the law myself, but that’s not how democracy works. Democracy is hard, but it’s right."

What is the right message the President should have for those who support the Dream Act. Oly what's your opinion, before anybody replies?

                "The DREAM Act

Over three million students graduate from U.S. high schools every year. Most get the opportunity to test their dreams and live their American story. However, a group of approximately 65,000 youth do not get this opportunity; they are smeared with an inherited title, an illegal immigrant. These youth have lived in the United States for most of their lives and want nothing more than to be recognized for what they are, Americans.

The DREAM Act is a bipartisan legislation  pioneered by Sen. Orin Hatch [R-UT] and Sen. Richard Durbin [D-IL]  that can solve this hemorrhaging injustice in our society. Under the rigorous provisions of the DREAM Act, qualifying undocumented youth would be eligible for a 6 year long conditional path to citizenship that requires completion of a college degree or two years of military service."

                http://dreamact.info/

For those not familiar with Senator Hatch (R-UT) he's as conservative as they come. Utah is not Obama turf. This is a bipartisan move to break the legislative logjam on comprehensive emigration reform.

Orin Hatch - conservative? Are there any real conservatives among such long serving/self serving Senators as Orin Hatch, Dick Lugar and the Maine Girls?  Hatch is as wobbly as an old milking stool.

Spoken by and like a Teabagger.

Real conservatism as practiced by Hatch does not equate to the fascist version of the tea party.

You're trashing Dick Lugar?  Might as well take out Mom and apple pie while you're at it.

There are a few (very few) thoughtful Republicans left, you should respect them rather than befouling what's left of the once Grand Old Party with neo-con nonsense.

I have always been under the opinion that if it works, don't try to fix it. There is no such thing as, Perfect.

If we were Perfect, this issue would not be coming up. What is on his mind?

What is he trying to tell us?

What are his views on, Freedom?

I like our freedom, but, as each day goes by, we seem to be on the wrong end of his, Change Thing.

That is the way I see it. There are a lot of people out here that just don't understand what he is trying to do to our country.

          I am one of them.

I like, Change, in a mannerly order.

Just what is his plan. that is the sticking point.

If you out here have a clue, I would like to hear it.

Have you ever considered educating yourself on the content of the Dream Act?

Or is it enough to take the position that if Obama supports it, you oppose it?

I'm proud of you Oly, but If you could know all of the President's thoughts and reasons there wouldn't be space in your brain for your thoughts. He is also imperfect but articulate enough to explain himself in speech and writing. I don't know why you don't understand his objectives and goals and the obstacles he face from the right. I believe that if it ain't one thing it would be another with you. Thanks for your answer.

There is no real conservatism. Everybody wants to get rich. The American Indians were conservative. See what happened to them.

The pioneers were socialist and liberals before they became capitalist.

OK, and just why did we go to Capitalist? Was it greed or power or perhaps, Domination.

A lot here to think about witch brings us back to, Obama and my thoughts of, what is he up to.

We are in such an upside down position right now and who has an answer.

Not I. Maybe, Obama, Trump, Huckleberry, Palin.

Just who out there has a good plan for, America.

Who do you think can get us back on our feet.

Now, lets not forget one fact that none of us are talking much about,

        Mother Nature.

I will end this comment for now.

"The pioneers were socialist and liberals before they became capitalist." Ever read Mark Twain's 'Roughing It', mostly recording Nevada City, Nevada in and around
1864. The greatest gold rush stories.
