Why does my CPM rate change over time?

    It seems to drop over different months? Whats the reason for this please?

    CPM is how much you make per 1000 visitors.  It changes as your hubs change, the ads offered change (e.g. different companies buy or stop buying ads) and the people visiting change (e.g. people buy more around Xmas).

      Your earnings per 1000 impressions vary all the time and so does cost per thousand impressions.

        Ahh I see - Does this then explain why advertisers will show more interest in Hubs that generate more traffic? So the CPM rates changes because the potential sales from the traffic attracts advertisers who desire high traffic counts?

    CPM does not say how much traffic you get, just the average amount earned per 1000 visitors.

    But, yes, of course--all else being equal--advertisers want sites with more traffic.
