The Snip Yes or No as a method of contraception

    I have been considering having the Snip as I really dont want to have children, is this a good idea smile

      I do not doubt that the snip is pain free.  It's later, when the anesthetic wears off, that the snippee reports pain.  And yes, everyone I've talked to that has suffered the indignity reports considerable pain.  Livable, but pain.

    They lie. It isn't pain free.Or that's what I've been told. But, it's a safer procedure than a woman having her tubes tied. Men I know that have had it done suffer about 48 hours discomfort.

    It can be painful.  For some reason my libido actually increased considerably.  Maybe it was from the pain. (plus, my urologist has a massive rack).  It took awhile before I was hitting the ceiling again though.

    I thought I was completely healed and pain-free after a month.  I went snow tubing face first and discovered otherwise.
