What is considered ‘sensitive’ language?

I am very new here, having only posted one hub so far.  I was planning to post a group of hubs about my experience with a premature baby and to include practical information about baby massage, skin-to-skin contact etc. My hope was that it would be of benefit to mothers who go through this experience, as it can be traumatic at the time.

However the first post I prepared has come up with a warning on it saying ads are disabled. I’ve read what this means, and can only guess that some of the words  and phrases - eg skin-to-skin could be seen as having a different meaning.  I’ve tried changing some of the wording and creating  new hub, but the warning came up again. It seems almost impossible to know what wording would be considered suitable and it seems likely anything else I write on this topic will run into the same problem.

I haven’t yet had a confirmation from Adsense, but I would like to use it and to earn some money for my writing, so I’d be very grateful if anyone can tell me what else I can do. I have also sent an e-mail to the hubpages help team about this.

Adsense is fairly strict about most words so usually Hubpages errs on the side of caution. Using the word "breast" too many times in one hub can trigger off the automatic alarm.

If you think your hub is family friendly try emailing the team and they'll manually review it and may put the adverts back on. Just remember - if you make any changes you'll need to email them again for another moderation.

        Thanks very much Wry Lilt,
I have e-mailed the team. I haven’t published the hub yet because reading  what the warning meant gave me a bit of a fright - I didn’t want it to be taken down. But from what you say it will probably be okay, so I’ll publish it and see what they say.
I think it’s probably a combination of words, rather than the repetition of any particular one that’s caused the problem  - I only used ‘breast’ once - honest!! :-)

Images can also be a factor, generally speaking.

True but that probably wouldn't bring up a warning before publication.

        That is even more true.

      Hello Website Examiner,
Thank you for your reply.  I hadn’t put any images in when the warning came up,  I’ll make sure there’s nothing untoward!

You are welcome. These things can be tricky.

Thank you both for your help. I’ve published my hub.  I took out the words "sweat-soaked” and replaced them with feverish, and removed “premature” from the title and the warning went. So if anyone else is wondering - don’t use sweat-soaked, it’s a dirty word!
