What does it mean when Hubpages says " this hub may be considered commercial?"
I only have had this warning come up on one post and I was talking specifically about one single companies service in my hub. I made a few adjustments to include others as options on the market but kept the focus about the one company and it was fine with no warning. Not sure what the exact reason I received it for but that was my thinking cause of the adjustment I made that removed the warning.
Normally it is an attribute given to hubs that promote a product ,service etc. This can be due to many links to the same product or company.

"Commercial"-- would be something that would promote a product or service similar to an advertisement seeking financial gains from writing the hub, rather than just writing an article to report facts and educate the public.
It is simply asking you if you would like to commercialize your hub by showing ads or not. Many hubbers "out there" don't always show ads on their hubs related to spirituality, their religion, gods and their own views.
If you don't want to show ads in your hub, then uncheck the button.,,!!

Hub may be of great commercial value,so you can also visit http://www.dressmine.com/.
Maximum times it can be because of more than 2 or 3 links.
It means they want to make money off you but don't want you use them to try to earn an honest $.
It means you have an affiliate link somewhere on your hub and hubpages will not allow this.
It means you might promoting your product, your website or using some selling type words which by default store in hubpages directory as the commercial words..
If you use lots of links to some websites ... you hub will be considered commericla and you need to check the radio button Commercial Hub considered so you can publish it .

The above warning appears on a couple of my hubs, maybe more, but doesn't show on the stats page. So, short of checking all 115 one by one, how am I supposed to know the warning is there?More to the point, the warning is wrong. Occasionally I set the ads level to low or none because I don't want...

I get a warning that my hub is "commercial", but I have no ads and no affiliate links and I...don't link to any sites that do. What's going on here? Hub Pages cannot be "hobby pages"?

Why is this warning on my unpublished hub? WARNING: This Hub appears to be commercial I'm not selling anything and have no Amazon or ebay capsules on it. Why does Hubpages think it's commercial?

My Hub, Anatomy of a Miracle has the message, "WARNING: This hub has a large number of tags."Come on, guys and gals. You asked for us to use "Suggested Links" to improve our Hub Karma, and now you're talking about dinging us for doing this?I checked over my links and as far as I...

Hello all!Being relatively new to HubPages (2 mo), I am wondering about the box marked "This hub may be considered commercial" that appears on the Edit screen for each hub. I have read the "What is commercial?" section in the Help pages, so I understand what...
