    Hey Staff,

There is a glitch in the forums. I have experienced it a half dozen times now.

I have edited a post, and the edited part is not to be found in the post. I don't know what the problem is, but it continues to occur.

It is beginning to get frustrating. I'll post something, then go back to edit the post, I'll even type the word "Edit", so people know it has been edited after the fact, but when the post shows up, the edit portion isn't in the post?

    Please check on this.

If any other hubbers are experiencing this, please chime in.

Yes, I did notice that. When I went in to edit a post for a second time I only saw the original post and when I exited only the original post showed in the forum.

You are right cagsil. 'Edit' on forum posts are not working. I thought it was only me.

Thank you SunSeven and UW. I knew it wasn't just me. I had heard a couple of people having problems with the edit function in the forums.

Shadesbreath and Wilderness both edited posts, but their edits were nowhere to be found. It seems like the forums is eating the edited portion. lol

I too look forward to this getting fixed. I am in the habit of editing my posts, and don't appreciate people seeing what I initially thought that I meant.

Are people still having problem editing forum posts?

I've had one person email me with regards to editing forum posts and problems doing so.

So, that begs to ask. If you are still having problems, please post here.

Hopefully, it can be cleared up. The problem was addressed by Robin and fixed. However, some people might still be having problems.

If you are still having problems, it could be a caching issue.  The fix was pushed out about an hour ago.  Let us know if you are still having trouble editing!  It's working fine for me now.  big_smile

I am not having issues at all. But, like I said, someone else contacted me via email. So, I bumped this thread, to see if other people were having any problems and if so, then hopefully the problem could be addressed.

That's all. smile Just trying to be helpful. smile

      Hey Robin,

I suggested to the person who emailed me, to upgrade their browser and to clear out their cookies, then reload their browser. However, I do not know if that fixed their problem.

I also wanted to give other people a chance to see if the problem was continuing. That was the only reason I bumped this thread.

But, thank you for responding. smile
