Is this game as big a disappointment for others as much as some reviews are making it out to me? Based on videos alone, the game looks terrible in graphics and connection issues on the multiplayer. The fact that they took so long to put out a game like this and to smudge a came like Duke Nukem just seems wrong.
    What are y'alls opinions?

Its a disappointment for sure, the only redeeming quality is somewhat decent game-play, enough to hold your attention but nothing spectacular.

More importantly however it should be noted that Gearbox is probably the reason why the game is at all decent... 3D Realms pretty much was scamming their publisher the entire time when "developing" DNF.

It is a big disappointment as they Disregard the cheat code: IDDQD and IDKFA! man those are legendary codes!

That's because those cheat codes are for the game Doom...

the problem is, they weren't "working" on it for 15 years, like so many reviews are complaining about.  It was touched here and there by several developers and 2K and Gearbox finally polished what it had so far and fed it to the public.  A perfect game?  Not at all.  Something for the Duke fans, heck yeah!

It definitely was a disappointment for the fact that they mock modern shooters for what they are yet dnf became those games. the regen health and 2 weapon limit were very disappointing and the humor was childish even for duke humor.
