Traffic sources now includes your hub name

   Just noticed when you look up traffic sources ( that place which records google, yahoo etc visits) it shows how many visits are from your own hubpages account. Wonder how long that has been there?

      I don't see what you're seeing... am I not in the right place? I clicked on the link "traffic sources" when I'm on my hubs statistics page. It gives me a list like you mention from the visits from google, hubpages, yahoo, and so on for the last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days and ever. Is that where you are?
      
      If so, I'm not seeing anything listed as being from my own hubpages account. I'm pretty sure I'm my own biggest reader, too!
      
      If not... can you point me in the right direction? Not sure I want to see that though... I like to think that others out there are reading my work!

      I've posted a couple of times about this - it seems to be from viewers that are bouncing around your subdomain.  Presumably by using links from your profile and hubs going to other hubs in your own subdomain.
      
      I also see a very large drop in views from hubpages itself - that would make sense as these same views used to be combined with what is now traffic from within your own subdomain.
      
      It seems to me to be a good indication of just how good a job you are doing in interlinking your hubs.  If you provide links to something the reader wants to see, you end up with another viewer on a different hub and it is reported as coming from your subdomain.
      
      I like it.

   I think you are seeing it (seanorjohn.hubpages.com) because you have the new subdomain in your name. I'm not seeing it because I don't have it yet.

      Lisa  -  Rochelle seems to have provided the answer. A few days ago I signed up for the new subdomain. It was very straightforward- it had to be, for me to figure it out. This is useful info because if I am editing a hub , I can't keep track of how many times I have clicked on my own hubs.

         That must be it... I did switch to the subdomain name a few days ago, but I still don't see that as a traffic source. Sooo I guess no one is using my subdomain name - yet. I'll keep checking that every so often and see if it ever appears.

   I signed up too, and my second best hub has lost 98% of its traffic in three days. (sigh). Didn't have very many earners as it was.
