Up until last month I would have said Ebay was better for promoting because for every $50 I made with Ebay, I made only $10 on Amazon. After writing a handful of general topic hubs meant specifically to promote related products, my amazon sales this month are half of my Adsense earnings and well above Ebay sales.

Amazon pays 4% to start, but goes up from there. It's more then possible to get to 6% or 6.5% of the sale. I think Ebay is 50% of the commisions that Ebay makes off the sale. But don't quote me on it.

Try them both and see what works for you. On Amazon, hand choose products and add small descriptions in the affiliate box.

This might help with Ebay affiliate sales..

Yes, you can get paid. But I recommend quite a few quality hubs first and then apply. In the past you could just apply and get accepted but they've tighten up their rules I've heard.

Put about at least 10 to 15 QUALITY hubs. Then apply. Not saying this is the magic number to get accepted, just that it will help. Cause I've also heard once you apply and get denied, its harder to get accepted later on down the road.
