Questions asked of me by hubpages.

I had a look on how people monetize their hubs in hubpages. There were two things to get started; tax information and the other one. I say the "other one" because I was not able to proceed. I was stocked on "tax information" because I was asked three questions as follow; "What is your vacation destination" in which I answered USA buth hubpages answered me that my answere was not right. The next question was "Where were you when you kissed the first time?" I answered Cagayan and of course I received the same response. The third question was "What is the name of your childhood pet?" I answered Blacky, and like wise I received the response "Wrong answer"; And the last was I am now blocked for 24 hours because I gave all the wrong answers.
What confuses me is that, I had never been asked these questions ever since I joined hubpages and I had never given any information concerning those matters, how come I am wrong on my answers? Where do they base the correct answers?
This is another example of my account being hacked and cloned. Who knows that somebody else is already earning from my hubs. And this is also the very reason why I create only personalized hubs; I can do better without the hackers. And this is also the reason why I asked the question if I can just hub without thinking of earning. I hope that hubpages would be treating me more fairly than what adsense did to me where my account was suspended because my hackers changed my original information and I am the one who came out as faking my own account.

You need to delete this and not give the response online to your security questions - it may be an error such as you had the caps. lock on. Contact the team or wait the 24 hours - but giving the information you have here is foolish.

      2uesday,
I intentionally gave the information because it was wrong anyway, which means, it's not in use because I had never used that.

Sorry I misunderstood what you were saying here, probably you need to contact HubPages then.

I am not clear what you are asking.  These are just security question, you answer them once--then have to give the same answers again to get back in.

      Yes psycheskinner,
That is supposed to be the case; I should have answered them once but I never did or maybe I don't remember being asked those questions when I joined hubpages four months ago. If I remember it right, I joined HP in September last year; wrote two hubs then I was "cut off" or my password didn't work and I cannot login anymore with my password so I forgot about hubpages; then suddenly in December I received an email from hubpages reminding me of my account here so I tried to reset my password and it worked. That was when I started back here, I think it's been one month since I am back.

It would have helped to get in touch with team@hubpages.com , you problem would have been sorted out much earlier. Hope you don't run into anymore difficulties. Best wishes smile

Thank you for the reply sofs,
Actually, I had just found in my old notebook the security questions that were asked of me and my answers but I am still 8 hours in my "locked in" status; I sent email to team@hubpages telling them what I found. I got no reply yet but I think I will be fine, I can wait 8 hours more. My fault, I just simply forgot.

It also happened to me. What I did was, I changed the browser I was using. I closed the chrome and used mozilla instead. And voila!

Then, try downloading mozilla. I use both when I go web surfing. Good luck!

That sounds like hackers trying to get your security answers!
