I am going to make a website on equity-share. This will be a local website that will teach people how to invest wisely, on the market. The problem is, I don't know much about making a website, and then making it go online. I only want serious advice. You will really help me if you can help! Thanks. . .

If you don't want to use a pre-programmed platform like Blogger, this site has excellent classes on learning to build a website and the classes are not difficult or expensive.

First thing, you need to get a domain name. Go Daddy can help you there.

Then, you need webhosting site. Hostgater is very good and relatively inexpensive for the services they provide. 000webhost is free and is quite good considering it's free.

Then, you need to download something like Joomla or some other Content Management System that allows you to build the site. You can even purchase templates for CMS that are already pre-made websites that allow you to simply add your own content, text and graphics.

      And, your done. smile

I have designed a number of websites and templates. It is really simple, once you understand the basics. At least if you do not need any fancy features. Most importantly, a website can be built with tables (hidden to the visitor) that subdivide the page into areas.

Hi, thanks. I need to have the website in a regional language, which is called Bangla. I have no idea how to make a website outside English. Can you help?

I will be happy to let you have a look at my templates. If it is a matter of pasting in the contents, adding some images and links, that might work. Menus and such can easily be customized.

Thanks! I am really serious, and will start as soon as possible. As it is going to be a site on share-trading, I really don't need anything fancy. I need it to be informative and clear-cut. But will it support a non-English font?

I create them with an HTML editor. It must be a matter of using an editor that will support the font. It will give you a head start, at a minimum.

Excellent! That was really helpful! Is it possible for you to provide me templates? And, how to get the domain name? Thanks. . .

You need both a domain name and hosting. I think someone gave you advice above. I use Network Solutions, but you may be able to get a lower price elsewhere. I will try to help with a template and have number of them, so feel free to contact me.

I really thank you for all this. . .

I will contact as soon as I get it. I am researching on the thing a bit. I went to 'Go Daddy', and it was cheap.

If I am correct, then domain names are actually an 'original name' for a website that customer chooses, with .com, .biz, .org and etc. And web-hosts provide data-space 24*7 for the online site. Is my knowledge right or do I need to learn more? I have not much idea over making websites. . .
