I voted for my hubnugget chose. This sandpit is new to me so I'll just keep returning as it is nice to see everyone's comments.
posts in the sandpit are NOT in the feed? thanks, and how am I so slow?
There's a game in the forum which allows you to post last and get a thrill.
Any suggestions on how to do a Happy Birthday surprise for a fellow Hubber? I learned his birthday is coming up. I don't want it threaded - need to keep it a secret. I thought about writing a Hub but I want the activity to go to him.
Thoughts, suggestions?
Just came across this today... sandpit, eh? I'd better not let my cats at the screen while I'm here... :-D
Wouldn't the religious forum be better in the sandpit, I would prefer it did not appear in my hubtivity in case my mother saw the kind of people I am mixing with.
Yipee - just starting and here I find someplace to play - awesome!
Welcome to the playground!
It can be lots of fun!
How fun is this place! Thanks shynsly for the heads up! Fun group here for sure.
Why was this changed to NOT be the Sandpit? It was extremely useful!!!!

And this is how the thread began (again),
not with a bang, but a whimper.
Our dried voices, when we whisper together, are quiet and meaningless
The problem is that there are always at least 3 or 4 troll threads that need a-trampling.
So you are failing in your civic duty if you play in the officially circumscribed area.
Also: they were a dull lot 4 years ago and that old vibe is kind of disheartening.

Would it be possible to introduce a word count limit on forum posts?Look at the forums and you'll find there's never a good reason for a long forum post.Spammers write a long post to advertise their DVD ripper or whatever. Religious fanatics write a long post to preach. Confused newbies...

For this week's HubMob, I have decided to cover a topic that is truly close to many people's hearts - their pets. I have never really been a pet owner, but as I meet more and more people I realize the huge role that they play in the lives of others around me. So, this HubMob is basically a way for...

So let me sum up my hubpage experience. I read up for about a week on how to accomplish goals and get traffic and make money on hubpages and was ready for the challenge. And quite excited to say the least! So I did some keyword research and hit on a topic that I found successful and got 6,000-7,000...

'SHORT-CUTS' - An idea! The success of Bubblews, despite the payments issues etc. has showcased the opportunity for short articles shared internally within a community. HP has Q&A and the Forums but community involvement has declined IMO, I think for various reasons, as well, Q&A has...

I am not sure it is possible with our forums software, but if possible it would be great I think.I mean we got so many spammers and trolls on forums lately, it's really annoying. Until newbies meet both time registered and number of hubs requirement, let them post in one special forum only, and not...

To prevent spam (see optimusinfo2).If you just joined less than an hour ago, maybe you should not be able to initiate 15+ posts or more.I don't know what a good initial limit would be, but maybe something like that would help the problem.
