Anybody got any ideas or opinions?

Looks like they are pushing even more towards forcing you to be a paying advertiser by requiring an advertiser login to use the traffic estimator. I guess the keyword groups feature adds a little more functionality.

I just used it without incident. What's the problem, exactly?

Instead of the long, happy list; it's now doing groups. I suppose I will learn to love it in time... big_smile

You can still get the long list, just click on the tab located to the left of the groups tab.

How do you get the old traffic estimator? Or where is an alternative one?]

The Traffic Estimator will now be available only to advertisers logged into their AdWords accounts, because it will begin using each account’s performance history to come up with its traffic estimates. The standalone Traffic Estimator is being retired.

This is what bothers me. Please suggest another traffic estimator The above information is from a post about changes.

I found the grouping function useful and I like that I can save my keywords.

Adwords is the only one I've ever used. However, I am signed up with adwords, but I don't use adwords, and I can still work the keyword tool effectively. I do not like the way they list the results now, tho.
