I would like to remove Adsense ads from my Hubs, but cannot find out how to do it. Hitting the Edit button on the affiliate page doesn't give me the option. Would appreciate some help

Not saying I would remove, just want to know how. Knowledge is power. Do you have an answer?

Actually, you did, right here: "I would like to remove Adsense ads from my Hubs"

Now the thing is, you can't. Your hub is commercial. You can not not have Adsense.

Thank you for the reply.  YOu are right, what I should have said was "I would like to KNOW HOW TO remove....."

My question was prompted by a post that told me that my hub would look better without the ads..... so I pursued this.

I assume that the post suggesting that it would look better without the ads was at some other forum.

I am not getting this banter here! But I am looking for the answer to a similar question. I do not want to remove adsense, that is the prerogative of Hubpages. They are here to make money! What I am trying to remove in my code that gives me a share of the clicks. I cannot seem to do that. Just like I cannot seem to delete hubs that I did not publish and wish to remove.

A straight answer would be greatly appreciated.

If you don't want any adsense revenue. Then go to the affiliate page and take your google adsense id out. Then all the proceeds will go to hubpages.

It does not let me do that. I tried two different browsers thinking it was the browser, but no I cannot delete it.

I think you are not the first one having this problem. Try to email team@hubpages.com, but don't expect the answer before tomorrow morning PST smile

I have emailed hubpages admin twice and was ignored. I am considering closing my account in order to get the adsense off.

I have no record of you ever having emailed us.

You can remove AdSense ads by changing the ad level to "none" on each hub, but this is only allowed on hubs that do not have any promotional links on them (links to your site, blog, or affiliate offers--basically any site in which you have a vested interest).

If you don't mind the ads, but just want your affiliate ID removed, you can have me remove your AdSense ID, and let all the proceeds from the ads go to HubPages.
