What song most signifies your youth? The crazy nights, wild parties, or calmer pursuits. What song symbolises that period for you?

Now, if I tell, it'll tell you how old I am. .... ah, OK, I'll tell. "Summer in the City" by the Turtles, "Rollin on the River" by Three Dog Night.,  "Hey, Jude" by the Beatles. "Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones. I could go on and on. I'm like the guy in "The Big Chill" who thinks the really good music came out in the 60's and 70's. (Well, not really, but almost.)

The soundtracks from my carefree days that sparked the desire for fun and adventure would be something from the Beachboys Like "Help Me Rhonda" or "I Get Around." Another would be "Under My Thumb" by the Stones.

I am still young and many of these songs I still have a connection to emotionally except for "Dirrty" -- that's my club party anthem.  The List :

    Fuel "Shimmer"
    Britney Spears " Stronger"
    Madonna " Don't Tell Me"
    Hole " Violet"
Joan Jett & The Runaway's "Cherry Bomb"
    Christina Aguilera " Dirrty"
    Little Kim "Queen B**ch"

It's so hard to decide, but the first songs that come to mind in no particular order are...

Whitney Houston - How Will I Know & I Will Always Love You
Stevie Wonder - As / Always
Biggie ft. 112- Sky Is The Limit (I love the chorus)
    Monica- Angel Of Mine
    Brandy - Angel In Disguise
R Kelly - Trapped in the closet series (Just for the hilarity of it!)
Run DMC - You Talk To Much (I'd sing this with my entire house and crack jokes)

Almost anything by these bands, but these were probably the songs I played the most:

    The Clash - London Calling
Jesus and Mary Chain - Head On
Echo and the Bunnymen - Bring on the Dancing Horses
Stiff Little Fingers - Suspect Device
    Violent Femmes - Kiss Off
Stone Roses - This is the One
The Stranglers - Nice and Sleazy

Actually, not much has changed.  My soundtrack then is pretty much my soundtrack now.  I should probably look into buying some new music...
