I just started a facebook page and my theme this week is Humor. Is it okay for me to ask Hubbers if they want to send me one (and only one per hubber) of their funniest hubs to feature on my facebook page? This may help them get traffic and it might help me to get people to like my page.  If this is okay, I will be reading approximately 40 Hubs and choosing between 15 and 20 to feature on my page. This is all new to me so my page is only just beginning. After I have a sufficient amount of hubs on there, I will start inviting people. Please don't send me links at this time. I need to find out if it is okay first or maybe the staff can let us know the proper way to go about this. Thank you!

Hope you will find this funny

it was a tossup between this, the cement dinosaurs, the gas saving tips and the self-wringing mop-- and a half dozen others, but the purseless one is higher rated.
Give us a clue so we can see what you get.

I was wondering about this rule that the forum are not to used for promoting one's hubs...

If we all post links, then we all can penalized.

Maybe you can just give us your FB page and we shall give you links maybe via a message and then you can select what to feature on your page.

I was never sure how the administrator of pages control unwanted postings.

Anyway, let me know what you think.

I know we are not supposed to start a topic to promote our own hubs-- but if we are answering a question, I think it is different. (I could be wrong, so I'm taking a small risk.)

I don't see anything wrong with this neither but we're merely responding to the question. And , if that's a violation, oh well then. *kaput* Lol!

I'm not sure if it's okay for me to give my facebook page on here but it's HoneyBB on facebook too. I hope I don't get everyone in trouble.

I put a link to my facebook page on my profile page. If you click on it, please let me know if you end up in the Adminstrator's page or if it is just a profile page. I'm not really sure what the link will lead you to. When I clicked on the hubpages profile link for my facebook page it brought up my Adminstrator's page. I certainly don't want everybody to have that much access....lol!

I'll check it out. Don't worry about the admin details. It's only visible on your page as an admin. (:

Thanks, but the link I set up might be the administrative page because that's what I was on.  ???

Oh, maybe that's why I don't see the page yet on your FB. (:

Oh no. I better remove it and try to figure out what to do. I'll figure it out and put the right one. Thanks for checking it for me.

I went to your profile page and the link was already removed by then.

I just did not want you to be "punished" for doing something that HP does not allow you to do. I have had some experience when HP would unpublish my hubs and it never felt so great.

If you figure out how to do your page in the nearest future, there is my article - it is usually liked a lot once people read it and it is short which is the best way to pique one's interest anyway

it is about how your tolerance is determined by your astrological sign - in a funny way

if you go to search on google

all you need to type in is "kallini2010 tell me your sign" and the first link will be mine.

I hope you can do the page.

        Best of luck!

Thanks Kallini, I have my facebook fan page up already but I'm still not sure how to send people a link to like the page. It will probably take me a week to go through all the funny hubs and choose. I will get yours and read it. Thanks for sending me the name.

How about if we just give the name of the hub, without providing a hyperlink? Would that still be overly promontional? I would like to feature "Ten reasons why my dog won´t blog" (which used to be "ten reasons my dog wont write on hubpages", but no one was visiting so I tweaked the title a bit). I hope this is okay, but if it is not I guess the HP moderator can delete my answer.
Thanks Honey, this looks like a really great idea!
