Submitting Articles on Multiple Writing Sites

   Are any of you writing for multiple sites like HubPages (ex. Bukisa, Triond, Wikinut etc.)? Have your experiences been good or bad? Is it better to write exclusively for one site or spread your work around?

      Write across several sites. I wouldn't choose Triond, Bukisa or Wikinut.  Triond doesn't pay well.  Bukisa has a reputation for spammers.  Wikinut takes a perpetual right to publish your article anywhere they like (e.g. in an ebook) without paying you, which is unreasonable.
      
      Instead, look at Seekyt, Infobarrel, Zujava, Wizzley, Xobba, PubWages, ThisisFreelance.
      
      Why is that important?
      
      When you write on a revenue-sharing site, you have no control over the platform.   There are so many things that can happen.
      
      The owners of the site can change the rules any time they like, and often do.   You may or may not like the changes they make.  That's annoying if you have a huge body of work on the site and have to spend hours revising them all to make them compliant (or if you object to the rule, deleting them all and moving them somewhere else).
      
      The site may go broke and close down.  The site may merge with another and change out of all recognition.  The site may stop being a revenue-sharing site. 
      
      To give you some examples:
      
      In 2011, HubPages made multiple changes to its rules, and gave Hubbers a few weeks' notice to comply.  Several prominent Hubbers had to delete their portfolios, because it was impossible to revise over 1,000 Hubs in the time available, and HubPages wouldn't give them an extension.
      
      I wrote at one site which closed down without warning - and I hadn't kept a copy of my articles, so I lost them.  Today.com also closed overnight because it sold its domain name to the Today program.  After a few weeks' break, it reposted all our content on a new site called blogdog.com (!!) - but because they'd sold the original domain name, they couldn't forward the old site, so the new site had no authority with Google and never did well, and it went out of business fast.
      
      I hope that convinces you that having all your eggs in one basket is not a good idea - unless it's your own basket (i.e. your own website or blog).
