As is my habit, and out of boredom since everyone is still asleep, I decided to look through my list of articles just to check on their status'.
One has a red skull next to it. I had to look at the legend to see what that meant. It means that the hub contains links to potential phising sites or other sites linked to malicious code.
The hub in question is one of three I wrote last year on "Fashion in Los Angeles." This is the third hub in the series. There are exactly three links in it. One each to the previous hubs I wrote on Angeleno fashion, and one link to Simone Smith's "Women in Short Skirts Are [Insert Opinion Here]."
I'm not going to reveal which one of the three tripped the warning, but I will say HubPages staff might want to check it before they come knocking at my door wanting an explanation.
It'll be Simone's hub. I know, because I have had the same problems.
It is a known issue, a problem with some adverts that HP are running, and they are working on the issue.
As Simone stated, this is a known issue that we have taken measures to address.
You can follow the forum thread here:
http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/107643
Ignore the warning for now. There are several hubs that are tripping filters (My link to Simone's profile page is also causing a red skull warning.) Staff is aware of it, and are working on it. There are at least a couple of forum threads about this issue.
I have those warnings all over my Hubs now.
We're having some issues with security warnings on the site that appear to be caused by rogue ads- this might be a result of that.
We've disabled the most suspicious ad networks and are adding them back one by one to see which network caused the problem. At any rate, the warning should go away in a couple of days once this problem is fully resolved. If not, would you mind sending me a direct message?
Lucky me. I went the adsense route since first of December. However, I am going back to hpads as of January 1. Hope all is well by then.
Hey paradigmsearch
I went back to Hubpages ad last month because I had a balace still and wanted to hit the payout threshold, still barely making it though. Before that I had transitioned to adsense only and was pretty much killing it before the updates a couple moths ago. Who knows now. Trying to figure out how to monetize work on this site has been fruitless latley for me anyway.
I was bragging about being on adsense, but there's still those pesky other Hubber's hub links...
I haven't figured out how to make any real money anywhere on the net. Failure is not an option for me. So I've got to come up with something...

I have a Hub marked as having a violation for a link to a phishing site. All of the links I used are to other Hubs. No links to outside websites. Does Google now think HubPages is a phishing site?http://tmbridgeland.hubpages.com/hub/Live-Debt-Free

I don't have a link to anything malware that I know about. We can't even put HTML in our profiles any more. Where is this coming from? It's come up three times tonight when I clicked on older posts I have written here. I checked the links in my posts and found nothing from the malware domain. Is it...

Yesterday, I had the same problem with viewing a forum thread as Cagsil had. Later I posted on Cagsil's thread and everything was fine. Now, I'm getting the exact same warning about planetsmilies on that thread and can't enter it. I've checked out my own protection virus and my...
