Though the links to my hubs are working, if I am not signed into my account the pages format is completely out of whack. There are no ads, the page is not centered and it looks horrible. Also, if I am logged in and someone clicks on a hub of mine, they are able to make changes to my account! Any help would be appreciated!
Only you see edit options when you're logged in, sydneyspence. You don't have to worry about others being able to edit your Hub. Even admin accounts don't have that ability- your content is YOURS.
I don't see anything wrong with the formatting of your Hubs. Keep in mind that for its first 24 hours or so, a new Hub won't have ads (as it goes through the Quality Assessment Process). Every time you edit that Hub, the process begins anew, so just leave it alone until it gets ads, should that be important to you (ads won't go away after that).
Thank you Simone for the feedback. I guess I should further explain ... for instance I posted one of my links to Facebook so others could read it and when one of my FB friends clicked on the link, they were able to go in and edit my hub. (though doing it as a favor because they found a spelling error) Am I allowed to post links to FB btw? Thanks for any help!
Are you positive? I followed two of your FB links to the hubs but could not edit either one of them.
Ive taken a screenshot maybe this will help me explain it better, see how the page looks and link are overlapping and its not centered?
Pretty small to see anything, but I can say that that's not what I saw when I visited the hub, and neither do I see any indication that it can be edited.
You might log out and take a look at it, and you might try a different browser.
Thank you wilderness ~ I truly appreciate your help. Still learning my way around Hubpages lol
here's another that actually a featured hub but it looks different than usual (am i doing something wrong or violating something I don't know?)
@sydneyspence
I looked at your Hub and it is both featured and published.
I didn't see any formatting issues.
There is no way for another user to edit your Hub content without having your login information.
Are you stating that you are logged into HubPages, you post a link to Facebook and then your friend follows the link on the same computer on which you are logged into HubPages?
In that situation, because you are logged in, the user could have access to your Hub content as the system has no way to know it isn't you at that point.
When you share a link normally, the user will not be using the same machine and will not be logged into HubPages, so they will see the content and have no ability to edit it.

Have you noticed that when not logged in and you go to the hubpages home page, the featured hub is nearly always a half-naked woman hub or a 'how to make money online' hub?

I have no idea how the Hub rating system works. What I do know is I published a hub about 4 hours ago. I came back to it 30 minutes ago, found a sentence that didn't look right, and edited it. 5 minutes later, the hub exited the bowels of the "quality assessment process" with a score 7...

I’ve been reading many questions on the forums about how to get more traffic to your hubs. I’m a great believer in testing something, analysing the results, refining and sharing, and I approached the subject of how to get hub views in a practical methodical way. I’ll share my techniques below and...

I have been on hubpages for two months. I have read multiple articles on SEO and backlinking. Ninety percent of my hubs do not have backlinking. But I choose for a while to say no backlinking. It was "different" I thought and "original". ...

First off, my hubs are transferred from Squidoo, and I am aware of various issues there. I'd already checked and edited hubs after the transition, so this is all post transfer. What I don't understand is why some of my hubs get unfeatured after I've edited them? One even got...
