    Hello All,

Considering the bans from the social networks should we prevent promoting Hubs in the forums and asking for votes??

I know that Hubbers don't do it as spamming usually but the social networks don't understand the Hub Love for sure smile

HP has been banned from social networks?

I know there was some kerfuffle involving delicious.. but is it officially an issue?

I'm sure it is an issue with delicious, and I suspect it is an issue with digg. Did not have a chance to check some others yet, but those two are the major players...

There are still many smaller players where hubpages haven't been banned.

Can we get some kind of official confirmation?  Has anyone at the super busy HP HQ got any information about this?

PaulDeeds gave the HP answer over on this thread:

      Peter,
I'm sorry, but Paul answered very specific technical question that has nothing to do with the topic of this thread...

Oops, okay.  I didn't realize the issues were separate.  I will defer to the more technically proficient.

gamergirl, I have been reading all the threads about being banned from Digg (or not being able to post, whatever), do you know what is going on? I cannot submit to Digg myself.

Are Hubs banned, or is it a technical difficulty?

You seem to be up on this kind of stuff!  smile  Thanks.

Well, from what Pauldeeds said, there is a redirect issue.  I know that in the past people have been restricted from digging because of being too self-promotional.  Are you able to submit links outside of Hubpages to digg?
