I think I know the answer to my question, but I'm to scared in case Iose any of the work I've put in to these hubs:
If I unpublish will I lose any content?
Thanks in advance.
Scared-e-cat.
Nope - you only lose your content if you delete - and even then HP give you 24 hours to change your mind.
Hhhaaa
I can breath at last.
Thank you for your time SimeyC

Simey, does unpublishing stop your train of ownership? Without being published does the copyright act still protect you, or can a thief then declare that their copy, being more recently published, is the original?
I was wondering the same thing myself.
I'd have to research more - but I don't think so. There is a traceable (either within HPs database or Google's database) audit of when an article is published. Think about all the video games, books etc. that have gone out of circulation - they are still covered by copyright until the owner revokes that copyright. The hard part is proving that you published first of course.
i think you wont, it will be in the section of unpublished hubs )

I recently found one of my poems published in a book that sells on many different sites. As near as I can tell, the book was published sometime in 2012. I am kind if at a loss as to what to do. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Do you include a copyright notice in your articles? Why or why not?I never do this, but I see that a lot of folks on here do. Just wondering what the opinions are out there.

There is a hub on here that has William Wordsworth's poem, "I wandered lonely as a cloud...."published without any credit to the original author, without comment or text backup, such as a review, or commentary on why the Hubber likes the poem; it is simply published as a stand-alone...
