How do we do this? I am not getting the readership I need for all of my nearly 100 articles, I still want to stay with Hubpages but also want to have the friends and readership another one gives me. Thanks for responses! I love Hubpages, it will always be my first choice when doing a new article, the method of our Hub construction here is second to none. Thanks!

You can copy and paste the URL to share on another site, is this what you mean?  You can include your profile URL, so others can see what you're writing rather than leaving too many links on another site.   I'm not sure what kind of site you're referring to, you want to be sure you're not seen as spamming on the other site.

Are you getting traffic from the search engines?

HP requires content to be unique.  If you want to move a hub somewhere else unpublish it here, wait 2-3 weeks for it to be removed from google cache and republish it elsewhere.

You will find more and more sites making the same requirement.  No one really wants one of a dozen copies on their site - it wastes their efforts in maintaining the site as traffic inevitably decreases with more copies.

In addition, google frowns on duplicate material and will likely rank all the copies lower for the same reason.  It wastes google's efforts and resources to keep track of multiple copies.  One is sufficient to show on the SERP's; there is no real reason to have multiples of the same information.

Mostly right.  You do own your work and for it to be published here on HP it has to be original.  HP no longer has the resources to search out and inform us of duplicate content, that is up to you now.  You can publish it other places if the other sites allow duplicate content but the best practice would be to publish an excerpt of your hub in another location and then link to the original for the full article.  Even better is to publish an excerpt on your own blog (free or self hosted) with a link to the original.

Some other tips would be to share the links with your social networks but for this to be effective you must be engaging on your social networks.  Like, share, and comment on the material the people you follow are posting, and even ask your followers to like, share, and comment on the material you post.  It's the same as "asking for the sale."  Just posing a link will do little benefit for you.  Getting your followers to reshare your link will do wonders for your traffic.  Keep in mind that most people just on Facebook have at least 100 followers. So if you just post a link your reach is up to 100.  But if you ask your friends to share and just 10 of them do, then your reach is over a 1000.  Ask them to share it and ask them to ask their friends to share it and it grows exponentially.  Join Groups and Fan pages that are related to the topics you write about and then share links with those pages.  The same applies to G+.  Pinterest is easy too but most effective if you engage by sharing, commenting and liking others.  The key to traffic with social networks is to engage them.  Don't spend your entire online time writing hubs. If you're not going to try to share them then you are depending on Search Engine traffic and competition with 1000's of others.  A total waste of time for most content now that things have changed.  It still works for Evergreen content but that takes years to see a real benefit.
