I filed a DMCA with Google because this site had copied my hubs and other hubs on his site, everythingathomes. I received this yesterday from Google...."The following URLs will be removed from Google’s search results in a few hours."
I haven't checked it yet but it looks like another one hits the dust but there will be more I'm sure of that.
That's great news. I've got a whole bunch (50+) stolen by one guy - I've filed with the host but don't expect anything as they have not replied to any other DMCA's filed with them. Next on the list is Google to get it deindexed, so it's good to hear it will do some good.
Congratulations! I got one of those too! I usually get one that says URL was not found, but this time I was able to get three articles off Google's search.
This motivates me to file even more complaints. My traffic has done horribly lately, and I am sure it is because so many of my hubs have been copied.
That's nice to know. I saw your other thread about your traffic dropping. This could have been the reason. I'm sure you'll see your traffic rise again.
I've found another one this morning but he puts up photos and my address here, but when anything is clicked it leads to some ads and it did freeze my computer. It seems to me I filed once before on this guy. Actually I think what I might have done was sent him an email and ask him to remove my content which he did. Now he's really gotten nasty he had about 82 photos that were from my hubs and made it look like you would end up on the hub, but of course you don't end up here.Your end up everyplace else but here.
DMCA has always been quick and fair. The problem is finding who stole your hubs in the first place!

I took a long break from writing much of anything over the last few months....mainly because I wasn't sure where to begin and I was a little discouraged by my lack of SEO knowledge. I've lurked here now and then to see what was happening with all of the changes being made, but I'm sure I've missed...

I have over 60 hubs now and could have several hundred before year end. I have been using groups so far to handle the hubs I have, but would like to hear how others with hundreds of hubs manage them.Thank you.

I joined HubPages just over a week ago, and I have achieved over 200 views. Keeping in mind I have no SEO knowledge whatsoever, and hardly know about keywords, I think this is pretty good, but i may be wrong...Can anyone help me figure this out?

I did a little experiment with opting into the EC program for three months. To begin with, last year one of my better performing hubs become Editor's Choice. That hub was getting an average of 20o+ views per day, peak. The day after being selected as EC, the views dropped to zero. I watched it for a...
