    Hi all.

I have just found one of my hubs being copied by another site. After investigating more I found that even more hubs are being copied and published at that site. It is possible that all the articles they have are from Hubpages. Here is to link to that site. http://www.pets-and-animal.com/. Check if your own hubs are present there. The articles there are of the topic pets and animals. It is possible that they copied every article from the very same category present in Hubpages.

I wanted to get this to the attention of fellow hubbers. Can someone please report this to Hubpages report staff. Or else file a DMCA complaint with Google.

      See this thread:

HubPages - this is why we really need a sticky thread about the scraper sites - people are still only just finding out about them and the issue has been around for many weeks!

      Hi path-finder,

It's always so disappointing to hear about this happening. I'm very sorry it's happened to you! Unfortunately, we can't file a DMCA on your behalf since every individual Hubber owns the rights to his/her content. But do check out our handy Learning Center guide on filing DMCA complaints yourself: http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/how- … -complaint

Also, here's some additional info on protecting your Hubs from content theft that might be helpful to you in the future: http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/How- … -Your-Hubs

Another one is crazygallery.info/ They are also adding our url to the end of their url and they have pin-it buttons on our stuff. I didn't hit the pin-it because I have no idea where it would take me. I just filed a DMCA.

They're back? They took some of mine before. I think the site was taken down for a while. Dang. Will have to check again. :-(

Yes this person has about 17 sites all with articles stolen from Hubpages. I agree with Judi Bee we need a sticky in the forum. These sites have been content scraping for awhile. They were up and then were taken down, but now they are back up again and many people still don't know about it.

I can't imagine how there are people who don't know about the sites - I feel like I moan on and on and on about them interminably big_smile

These site are (or at least were last time) 100 percent stolen hubs, taken as quickly as they could be published.  Probably the majority of hubbers are affected and don't know it. I still need to go file on this latest round...

Went and checked for my hubs there due to a couple of hubs written about dogs. As I was looking through, I found one of the articles even lists other hubs written by the author. It is about Siberian Huskies. Tried to click through the hub links, but it would not let me.
You think if they were going to rip anyone off, they would at least not include the other hubs.

I just noticed that at least one of my articles has been stolen and posted on 10 different sites.  This is very confusing because I've never had to do this before.  Can anyone walk me through this?

My Hubs were reposted in the comments section of certain blogs.  Is there a reason why this was done?

Finally Google has responded to my DMCA notice and has taken down my hub from the site. So one down, many to go....
