Back-link on hubs

   Hello everyone, I joined hub pages recently and I have a question. I am making a series of hubs in the subject of saving money from reducing the electricity bill, in each hub has a topic. In the last text box I always put the links for the other hubs in the same series, 9 so far.
   Can this be considered as a bad behavior? For spamming and word filling. If my hubs showed in the related articles, i wouldn't do it.
   
   I am also thinking about making a index hub with each topic resume and link? Is it too much?

      It's okay and encouraged to link hubs. What's discouraged and not allowed are too many links to one domain outside hubpages. I don't think it's word filling, unless the text is very minimal. I think a hub is still supposed to be able to stand on it's own, with useful links as part of an overall well-rounded piece that answers a question that the searcher/visitor is looking for. The Hub must be useful, in other words, in itself and keep someone engaged and staying for a bit; including checking out your other hubs.

      I think that as long as your links are there to benefit the reader, it shouldn't be a problem. People would definitely like to have a "contents list" to read previous or the next article if they enjoyed your current article.

   I agree with Smartwatchreview. However, if you go into your account and to the left where it says "groups", you can group related Hubs together, so that at the bottom there's a link to the next one. I can't guarantee that they are as visible as putting them in a text box, but it's one less thing to do when you're constructing your hub

   I add a link, description, and an image of all RELATED Hubs.  Google's human quality raters include 'Related Content' in the algorithm for search rankings.  That's what I title the text box: 'Related Content.'

   I wouldn't do an indexing hub with just the summary and links- that would probably end up getting a substandard warning. But, as others have said, I would definitely link your interrelated hubs. And the grouping as someone mentioned also is helpful.
   
   If you don't want a big link box at the end of your hub, try linking to only the next hub in the series in a link capsule at the end and a link to the previous hub at the beginning. You can also add in text links to the others in the series as well and it could make your text looka a little cleaner and you wouldn't have a bunch of links all together in one place.

   Hi, ECO-logic!  Welcome to HubPages!  We recommend using the Grouping feature and linking via anchor text within your Hub.  We don't advise a long block of links at the end or in the middle of your Hub.  A few relevant links with a clear capsule heading and descriptions is fine, but I would try to keep it to four or less.

      Totally agree... Any other method beyond what Robin has described will come off as desperate and unappealing to a visitor.  There are already too many distraction on a hub, why present more.  An anchor text link and using the Groups function is all that is needed.

   When writing SRO articles, it is advised to add a "resource box" which is headed by "For more articles on ABC by this author, see...[links]". Since I will write 5 related hubs about system migration, for instance, I would like to add such a resource box to each of them. These would all be links to hubs, not outside HP. Thoughts?

      The biggest question to ask yourself is if the links are useful to your reader?  Will they answer a question that you didn't? Will your reader be grateful that you included the link in your Hub? If you think that the links are valuable for your reader then include them.  If they are to gain a backlink or to promote another site, then I would leave them off.  Here's an interesting post on linking by Matt Cutts and Eric Enge.

   Robin. What about links to your resource sites for non fiction articles? Must be Google ranked and add credibility to topic. I get comments on my good resource info.
