I am using facebook ad program from 3-4months for ebay sales, <link snipped> and hubpages. I have a page on facebook: <link snipped>
When I used facebook ad program for the first time, it gave me amazing response like 500 likes in 1$. I used it for page post engagement. I had not selected any specific audience. I just tried it. After that, its response started falling. Then I tried for page like ad prgram. It worked good in beginning but now 10,000 people are seeing my ad but not a single person is liking it.

whats wrong with facebook ad program??
I am targeting specific audience. People see my ad but not a single person respond
Please suggest something I can do

Perhaps lots of people have already seen your ad and either liked it or decided they aren't going to.

Have you tried creating a new ad? It doesn't necessarily need to be for a different product, just use different words and try to express a different aspect / benefit of your product.

I tried lots of different pictures. Tried to target ebay ads, hubpages, my nail art blog as well. Non of them are responding. Even I am targetting specific audience like its nail art so women between 14-40 age.
Is there something like nail art is out of fashion now??? :-o

I tried the FB ad program for my Zazzle shop.  The extent of its failure was a big surprise (and I was very skeptical to start with).  Tens of thousands of views and 5 visits, no sales.  I think the click through rate was something like 0.01% or worse.

I suspect if I just used it to get likes for my FB page it would work a bit better, but would those increased likes actually make me any money?

I despise Facebook advertisements and have never clicked on one. I don't believe I actually know someone who has. They advertise completely irrelevant material based on your google searches or something you clicked on a news site. Catering to billions of people is surely the wrong way to advertise unless they can aim to the correct niche. Just because I clicked on a news story about a shooting, it doesn't mean I want to buy hand granades or that I want to play "worlds most violent game", thank you facebook. Just because I was shopping for a coach purse for my wife doesn't mean I want coach shoes even 2 months after I have purchased the product, thanks Facebook.

Want to advertise? Aim for that demographic and that demographic alone in a place where they actually go to buy things or discuss things or relax (i.e your local college or hair salon, a site that caters to women's beauty advice), not the very place where we have become so accustomed to stupid adverts that the majority of us install ad blocker on our pc's.

The performance of facebook ads is notoriously poor, much worse even that Adsense ads--even with the 'targeting'.
