   Has anyone had any Amazon sales in the last few days? I know figures aren't finalized, but I just wanted to see what others are experiencing. Thanks for your input.

      Amazon sales are being reported. I had three sales Tuesday and two yesterday (Thursday).

      Hi Jodah, some types of articles seem to lend themselves better to affiliate sales than others. Thanks for responding.

      I used to get money from eBay clicks, but I took out the remainder of my eBay affiliate links when they switched to a different module. Do you feature "Buy Now" products?

   I have sales listed for the 21st and 22nd.  I average around $50.00 a month from Amazon now that we can take advantage of the 8.5% commission.

    I don't think I've ever had any Amazon sales.  I'm rarely bother to put any Amazon capsules anymore.
    
    Besides..HP is sending mixed messages on the matter.  On the one hand, the capability is there to add those capsules; on the other, there is some penalty for using them, for certain kinds of selection criteria.

       I limit it to 2 per article unless its a list of the best goodies - then a link every two goodies.
       
       I get sales for things I suggest, but also weird stuff they decide to buy when over on Amazon that has nothing to do with my post.  That's great - I'll take a pair of hiking boots and a lamp sale.

    Some articles definitely lend themselves more to Amazon sales. A couple of my hubs have consistent sales. I think that's because HP does well with search engine traffic, compared to some others.

    I have never deliberately written a hub to generate Amazon sales, but by luck, star alignment or some other cosmic force, one of my highest traffic hubs generates pretty good Amazon sale revenue.
    Often, it outperforms my other revenue-- especially since I attached it to my HP earnings.
    Just to give you a hint: I used to always put an Amazon capsule pointing to a book about the subject I was writing about. I got a few pennies from this, which is fine.
    Similarly, I have also used Amazon product capsules just as a format element like a photo, which illustrates something about the subject, to break up large blocks of type. If it brings a sale-- fine, if not --it still serves a purpose.
