Does anyone know why after publishing a hub almost 2 years ago that the view duration status is "still collecting data"?
For those who don't know this is under stats.
I am not positive, but as far as I can tell it has to do with page views. My hubs that have few page views, even if old, have "still collecting data" under page view duration.
I just recently saw that message on one of mine. Two years has to be a record though.
I have a few from '08 that are still collecting data.
Same here, although I only go back to '10. Hubs with low traffic, no matter the age, seem to be always collecting data. Perhaps the data for that metric is discarded after a few months, perpetually leaving the data stack with insufficient data to present conclusions.

I noticed that one of the Hubmetrics numbers on hubs is view duration. It tells you how long people stay glued to each of your hubs before clicking away for something else. I know that Google measures view duration as well. Do you think that pages that get viewed longer are...

These show at the top of each article, but it would be nice to view them easily. This would give writers an idea as to how engaged readers are without having to check Google Analytics and would be much less tedious. With this feature, we would quickly know which hubs need to be upgraded.

I know this article is not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but it does fairly well for me. I've tried submitting it at least twice in the past and it gets rejected with the basic e-mail. Is it worth editing again and trying to get it approved, or am I wasting my time? Am I focusing on a lost...

I have hubs, two, three, four, and five years old, and instead of giving me the search data, they say " Still Collecting Data" This is even on featured hubs. When will the data collecting be completed?

Sorry, but I am in a suggesting new features mood. Why not put view duration stats on the 'my account page'? If user metrics are becoming more important it could replace something like the number of slide show views (pretty useless for most people).I am carefully deleting or updating hubs that don't...

One of the things I try and improve is my average visit duration. I've moved it from about 35 seconds to close to a minute. What do you consider a good Average Visit Duration? Is it worth culling some hubs that seem to get a low AVD?
