This would mean it would be easily accessible on the go.
You would be able to browse through the Forums etc. when you are incredibly bored.

There is an old iOS app that was developed by HubPages, but it has not been updated in some time.
There is an Android app in the Google Play store, but it has nothing to do with HubPages and is simply a web browser that only browses HubPages (do not use this Android app).

We have spent a considerable amount if time improving the mobile browser experience for the site and as such suggest using the mobile site in a browser like Chrome, Opera, Firefox, or Safari.

If you choose "request desktop site" from your mobile browser you can also do things that are not available in the app or mobile version.

I checked out the link and it looks like it's not an actual app but simply the site being made for mobile browsing.

Is the HP responsive design for mobile devices what you'd term an actual 'app'?

No, I snagged the wrong link.  The mobile app is older, that should have been obvious to me... I need to multi-task today with fewer tasks at once it would seem.

Apparently we have a Mechanical Turk App,

Matthew Meyer says on this thread that there is an Android app for HP, but that it has no real features, and is not associated with HP. He also recommends not using it:  http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/121213#post2571023

No there isn't. That app wasn't created by the HubPages team, and it doesn't do anything you can't do in your browser window. It is completely useless, and I would bet it keeps/sends information you don't want sent.

I'd just give up on the idea of an Android app. It is too hard to publish content on a mobile device, even if there were an app. And since the HubPages team for quite some time now has only been interested in coming up with new ways to entice users to churn out as much (mostly garbage) content as possible, an app would do nothing to benefit their needs, and would take too long to develop.

I found an app for the iPhone..I can upload pictures to the library, check on earnings, stats, hop hubs, go to forum , q & a's...the only thing I can't do is update my articles which I would only do from a desktop anyway..

Are we talking about the same app matforte? i just like it for when I am on the go and need to check my comments, etc..

When we built the first app a photo couldn't be uploaded from a smartphone. Now they can. We will likely work on a better mobile web version in the near term over platform dependent apps.

I'd like to be able to edit an article from my phone  but just being able to check on things is nice enough right now so I'm not complaining. May be a notification of a comment or any notifications at  all with sounds would be good
