So I realized, while browsing the HubPages "answers" forums that one user frequently posts "questions" in the Islamic section. Looking through, it is clearly him using the answers forum to purposely attack the religion of Islam and anyone trying to genuinely answer his so-called question.
Although TOS doesn't specifically mention religion, it does speak against hatred Hubs. I assume this extends to the answers forum as well.
I am considering reporting him but not sure if anything will actually be done. But his questions are not to sincerely learn the correct truth about Islam but to be used as a tool to lash out with falsehoods and vile, hatred toward Muslims and Islam. I would post an answer to his posted questions, but I know he would bypass it as a way to continue disrespectful comments. After all, who is the bigger fool? The fool himself or the one arguing with the fool?
HubPages does take hate speech seriously. Why not try it and see? You cannot be penalised for reporting him and it is the right thing to do.
Report him. Provide links to forum or Q &A they are posting in. A human will look at it and decide what to do.
He's truly a one note wonder. All his questions are about religion, and they all have an agenda. If you think what he's posting violates the TOS, report him.
The questions he asks are provocatively rhetorical, as evidenced by his responses. It would be better if this writer launched a forum thread stating his own views on the issues he raises, allowing others to agree, challenge or question them. You are right not to get drawn into his web.
Sure, Linda.....any hubber may "report" another for whatever they feel is a valid reason that may be of concern to staff. If staff deems the threads inappropriate, hateful or simply something they will not allow on HP.....they will take necessary action.
Another option would be to completely ignore this particular hubber......do not read his questions, comments or forums....don't get involved.
You will find that the type of person you mention (and I don't know WHO you are referring to) will create new ways to continue to do whatever it is they do. Know what I mean?
From what I understand (via more seasoned hubbers) trouble makers have been known to re-appear repeatedly, using new names and profiles...having had dozens of HP accounts.
I hope you try to just avoid what upsets you. There is more than enough positive going on at HP to focus on......Peace, Paula
True, this hubber could just create a new account. I went back to look again and noticed the date stamp. It has been quite awhile, so I will just ignore for now. It is just irritating when people attack and disrespect others and their beliefs. It is one thing to disagree with one's belief, but do so respectfully. I have friends from all religions and cultures so I am one of the lucky few in this world to see the beautiful diversity of the world. I celebrate and respect this diversity and perhaps just get irritated when someone persecutes another just because they have a different view or belief than theirs...especially when to point is to start a campaign of discrimination.
Thanks to everyone for your imput.
It is difficult to advise when we cannot read the material in question. Can you describe how to get to a link?

This has been on my mind for quite some time. I know that there are no rules against authors working together with other authors to create hubs on HP, but there is not really much encouragement for collaboration. Everyone is just competing against each other in "a healthy way", and in...

I read both forum entries and answers/questions entries but the two features seem to overlap. Many of the questions asked in "answers" are technical questions asked by hubbers about HP. Some elicit long threads of answers just like in the forums. Since the "questions/answers"...

Has anyone else noticed a serious drop in quality among the Question portion of HubPages? For the past several weeks, nearly every question that is featured in the "my account" section has been ripe with misspellings and just contain a general lack of worth in my opinion. I feel the...

I posted a question on a forum page relating to Amazon Ads yesterday. I did not post an image with it. I was really surprised a short while ago to see the question at the bottom of a forum page (with related questions below) Alongside my question was an image which is not one of my own. ...

Why is this forum filling up with questions?

HI I'm new.. and I think.. that if someone (that isn't a Hub Page Member)visits my Hub page and scrolls to the bottom of my page they can see all the forum activity I have been a part of. I'd rather this info not be available for the world to see... is there a way to "turn off" the...
