Wow, am I puzzled. One day I read that eBay dissed capsules for our Hubs, next day I see one on my just-published Hub titled The Seeder: 016: Antique Auto Auction.
Thing is, I've NEVER signed up as an eBay affiliate--I'm used to seeing (and WANT to see) AdSense ads in that spot.
Am I missing something here????
All advertisers are paying customers lol. Their own ads may show up unless you specify in your adsense to block them I guess. No expert here but maybe offer some help.
Hm. I don't remember seeing anything in AdSense that says, "click here to block eBay ads from knocking our Google ads out of the box". Likewise, I've NEVER even signed up with eBay (as a buyer/seller ON eBay, yes, but not as an affiliate; I don't even have an affiliate ACCOUNT with them).
Still confused.
Unless you're saying that the eBay Motors ad might BE a Google AdSense ad? Now THAT would be cool. Can't see the usual "Goole Ads" thingie anywhere on it, but can always hope...
YEah, a paying advertiser with a G ad account. jus my thoughts n as I said, not a expert. Just a thought.
That ad was probably appearing during HubPages views, not yours.
I have had some of the strangest ads recently. I was wondering why my adsense revenue was down (when traffic has been relatively stable), so I went to my sister's house and we used her computer to see what my hubs were showing. The ad matches were really really bad. Went to a few neighbors' houses as well. Different ads were showing, but really weird matches for many hubs.
Called my nephew, in a different geographic area, he reported the same thing.
This may be related to the wide variety of topics on Hubpages. My own websites are seeing a better match.

I received a notice about being charged to keep my Amazon affiliate program active if I have no sales in 90 days. I'm sure others share this issue. Since I agreed to use Amazon under Hubpages program ID, I do earn more commission but now I may be charged due to my own ID isn't producing income.Is...

K, so I signed up for all the affiliates, Google, Ebay and Amazon. How do I know my google adsense ID is working correctly. When I click on the ads, it does not have anything remotely resembling the ID that is in the box on the affiliate link page. Also, now, is there something else I need to...

Hi Hubbers! Our Terms of Use are changing. The update will only affect Hubbers that elect to run Google AdSense directly (i.e., those that are not in the HubPages Ad Program). We added information to Section 9 covering the Affiliate IDs Program and its subcomponents. The newly named Affiliate IDs...

I'm trying to sign up for the earnings programs and can't because I don't have a Google AdSense account. I applied for one a few days ago but was rejected due to "insufficient content". (My account has 106 hubs, some of which do look sparse after the import.)While I'm...

Here's something for you guys to consider, and I am simply reiterating a comment I made on another post. You need organic traffic to your Hubs! Why? If you are using adsense, or any other monetization method on Hubpages, you will not, I repeat, you will NOT get credit for clicks on your ads from...

I've earned only $3.11 since I set up the eBay program, in contrast with a couple hundred from the Adsense program during the same timeframe. (1) is something set up wrong somewhere? If not, (2) can I opt-out of the eBay program, leaving the old EBay space free to hold Adsense content? (Or does it...
