    Hello Dear Hubbers,

I've a bit confusion about amazon link. If I make amazon affiliate program active on HP  and use simple amazon text link on any product (not included my affiliate Id) without using Amazon capsule then can I get earning commission when someone clicks and buy product? Or I should use only amazon capsule for earnings? Also can I use both amazon and ebay on same article? Thanks

No, in order to be paid, you either have to use a capsule (and let HubPages insert the affiliate id), or use an affiliate id in the link.  If you add a link without the id, and someone goes straight from that link and buys something, then as far as I know, nobody gets a commission.  Yes, you can mix Amazon and ebay ads in the same hub.

Remember to use these products sparingly, since you already have Adsense ads on the hub.

Great! it's clear to me now. So, which way is profitable in your experience? Earning from own affiliate ID or earnings from HP amazon capsule?

Besides, ebay or amazon, from which platform, people generally like to buy product?

Amazon has a tier system.  So the more items you sell, the higher the commission.  For this reason, it is better to join the HP Amazon program, because other people's sales will help get you into a higher tier.

I think the question of eBay or Amazon would depend on the product you are selling.  If you are selling antiques, then eBay would be a better source. I only have a couple of hubs with eBay capsules, so I don't  know enough to compare them.

I would like to remind you though that you can still earn money with articles through Adsense and HP Earnings Program without trying to sell anything at all. A lot of people are getting caught up in recently adjusted spam filters, and you should be careful when you use Amazon and eBay ads.  They must be very relevant to the hub.

I have been trimming my Amazon links down. Two is my max and sometimes just one. I have noticed HubPages offers 10% earnings on many sales, so I am using their capsule.

Articles Hubpages will not score high or are not getting any visits, I have moved to Wizzley. There the site uses The Amazon ID affiliate for payment. I have both accounts, HubPages and Amazon affiliates, giving Amazon earnings. I get Adsense on both sites too.

I do not get a lot of sales to get into Amazon's higher paying tier even if I used all affiliate ID. I think I am squeezing out a little more earnings using this plan.

There is a right way and a wrong way to add sales items to your hubs.  I read a very informative hub when I started that helped show the way.  I'm not sure which one it was, but I found this one that might help you get started:

The very first #1 suggestion in your hub to read is out dated, in my opinion. Best of, Top 10, etc are no longer advisable. Only the first suggestion, write about a single product is the only one I understand HP wants now. #7 is a no-no, as well.

So my point is, it is better to answer the forum question without referring to other hubs to read. I do not understand why the hub you suggested is not updated with current advice. All the material is from before Penguin or Panda or one of those other cold Google fixes that froze the buying bubble by targeting curated pages.

Those earning figures are not realistic for the present the climate.

Sorry, I hope I am not harsh or annoying.

It is possible that the hub is outdated.  I noticed a 2014 edit date, but don't know for sure if she updated everything.  The content about choosing the right product and matching the product with the content is important.

Referencing content that is already written is easier than retyping all the content new especially since this topic gets discussed from time to time.  The point is that there is more to this topic than is being discussed in this particular forum post. Be sure to look elsewhere (other hubs, other forum posts, other websites, etc.) for these additional info that can help you be more successful.

I also think that it is important to read a lot of information from a lot of different sources.  Different people have different opinions, and no one is right about everything.  I'm not sure I agree with you about top 10 lists, for example, but I don't know enough to say you aren't correct.
