I want to know how to link to another article on the internet. Is that allowed? Also, how do I get the bullets to work right on my text capsule? Thanks
Hi Dear maryjenga11,
Of course, it’s allowed to link other but really helpful and quality sites. And you can add a link to other site or use bullets by clicking on edit button of capsule and then by using provided buttons on editing frame.
I've attached a screenshot I hope it'll help you...
Ok I tried using those bullets under format again, is not working for me. What happens is it gives me only one bullet on the first line, not where I want it. And even if I just want a vertical list of items written the editor puts it as one sentence after I save it. I need step-by-step instructions please. Thank you again.
Did you try placing each item or sentence on a separate line first? Then highlight the content and click the bullet icon. It should work this way.
Yes I put it on a different line but I didn't highlight it. I will try that. Thanks
But, you can link more than once to sites like Wikipedia, Flickr, newspapers, etc., and to other Hubs or pages on HubPages.
Re: bulleted list
Also (and this may be obvious), if you click enter after the first item -- that is, insert your cursor where you want the break -- a new bullet will appear on the next line.
Sometimes when I want to create a bulleted list out of existing content and I highlight and click the bullet icon, it does render the whole thing as one block next to one bullet, and I have to go in and separate out the items by doing what I just described ... if that helps.

What's the point in keeping us from linking to our own work in our articles? That's how we increase traffic to our articles!

I've had links to my own related hubs snipped on several occasions (mostly blatant lists at the end of a hub), but some links have been left in place after several snips. So is it acceptable to include a link to a hub which may be very relevant to the specific content in a section of a hub, if it...

I noticed what appears to be an automatically generated link in one of my Pethelpful articles. I didn't add it, and I can't get rid of it. I can't even see it in edit mode. Even if I delete the word, it just adds a new link at the next instance of that word.It links out to another Pethelful article...

Hi Hubbers,I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article Understanding the Logic Behind Artificial Intelligence (must be signed in to view). What can I do to improve? Thanks!

Does it make your links less effective if you link your hub to a squidoo lens and then link your lens back to your hub? Or is it more effective just to link your lens, blogger and articles to your hub without links back to them from your hub? I have heard different opinions.

Is there any value in linking to your own hubs within OTHER hubs and your profile page, in terms of search engine page ranking? Any advantage at all? I've seen a lot of people do this.If this is a silly question, please forgive me; I'm still relatively new here. Thanks.
